According to Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune, Bears general manager Jerry Angelo has been fired.
It’s about time Angelo was relieved his duties. Finally Bears fans can rejoice and hope that the next general manager can make much better decisions.
It’ll be interesting to see if the guy the Bears hire as near next GM will make a stronger effort to re-sign Forte who will become a free agent in the offseason.
At this point, I wonder if Bears head coach Lovie Smith’s job is at stake as well.
