I guess Lovie Smith just doesn’t get it.
Smith made it clear on Monday he’s not ready to commit to Mike Glennon as his starting quarterback after the second-year signal-caller gave the Bucs their first win, which came against a pretty good Steelers team on the road.
“You’re asking me to name our starting quarterback right now?” Lovie responded, when asked to name a week five starter.
I like Smith as a head coach, but he needs to go with the better player. Even during the Bucs’ blow out loss to the Falcons, Glennon looked better.
